I'm Sophia Bartsch, a Finnish-German multidiciplinary artist and illustrator based in Turku, Finland. My work centers around wildlife and nature, focusing especially on local ecosystems and species. I specialise in watercolour paintings of flora and fauna and draw inspiration from traditional botanical illustrations. I also create mixed-media sculptures utilising mainly recycled materials, paint murals and dabble in many other forms of art. I've been part of multiple community art projects, latest of which was the 'Aikamatka 20360' immersive art installation in Runosmäki.
